As we all know, I am a huge fan of the site Go Fug Yourself. I aspire to their level of good-natured snark. Plus they lead me to things like this. A German-made Hasselhoff video. (Matt: "I think I liked them better when they were Nazis...")
I... I don't know if it gets better than this. I honestly don't.

I remember an interview of him years ago in TV Guide ( the only magazine that ever got delivered to my home while growing up ).
In it, he was asked why he was so popular overseas and his response was, "Because I am The Hasselhoff."
Please tell me he said it in a German accent.
Ya know, I saw him interviewed about performing at the Berlin Wall while it was being torn down, and from his perspective it seems that he was personally responsible for uniting Germany.
But you gotta give the guy credit for one of the best personal mockeries of all time in the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Funny, funny stuff.
